Let Me Tell You Why I am Giving Away All Of My Pest Control Marketing Secrets For Free.

For the past 10 years, I have been obsessed with helping pest control businesses grow. But it hasn’t always been this easy. My first pest control client was my cousin in Boise Idaho and he hired me only because their current website guy became too expensive. But for me, it wasn’t about making a quick buck. It was about turning a small to non-exist marketing budget into a steady stream of new customers that would fill routes.

On day one of running their marketing, I built their website and submitted it to Google so that we could show up when people searched for a cockroach exterminator or the fastest way to get rid of spiders. I was stoked with how the website looked and I couldn’t wait to deliver a handful of new customers to them.

But I would end up waiting way too long. Our site didn’t even show up on the first 4 pages of Google. I just didn’t get it… I kept asking myself “What am I doing wrong?” At this point, it became personal. It was me verse Google and I was determined to win. I read marketing blog after marketing blog, listened to what seemed like a thousand hours of podcasts, and begged my college marketing professors to teach me digital marketing.

And that is when it hit me. My professors weren’t going to teach me digital marketing because they didn’t know it and every guru I listened to just wanted to sell me their course. If I wanted to be successful then I was going to have to do it through trial and error.

And that is exactly what I did

I started creating blog article after blog article and learned Google Ads because I couldn’t wait to rank on Google organically — I knew I was going to have to deliver immediate results or that my cousin would fire me. I was able to get traffic on the website but I had no way to tell if my ads and efforts were generating new customers or if it was because of their vans driving around town.

So what did I do?

I learned how to code. Yep. And I am not just talking about WordPress websites but actual HTML, javascript, and good ol’ fashioned CSS. Now, if you have no idea what any of that is I wouldn’t be surprised. At that time, most people still went to yellow pages to find a business they needed and no one knew anything about the world of code. But I did.

I developed a program that tracks phone calls, allowing me to pinpoint which web page initiated each call and even identify the user’s previous location before visiting the site. This tool finally provided me with a means to monitor my efforts and demonstrate that I was attracting new business.

It felt good, real good. But when I looked back at what I had built, what I found was a lot better than a trackable phone call.

I had discovered a secret formula of what made customers call pest control companies.

But how good was I compared to other marketers out there? Good enough that with only a $1,500/ month budget, I grew their business from $250k a year to over 4 million a year in just 5 years.

I was hungry and I wasn’t going to stop. I kept testing what would get a customer for cheaper and make them stay with the company for longer and by doing so, I found my passion. I loved taking something that grosses most people out like pest control and making a real difference in people’s lives. I fell in love with seeing the 5-star reviews come in because they told a story. It might have been the family that had bed bugs and they didn’t know what to do or the elderly woman who had been living with cockroaches for far too long. My geeky marketing knowledge was changing the lives of so many people because I chose to work with companies that wanted to make a difference. I am giving away my marketing secrets because I want others to be able to do the exact same thing.

Here is the truth...

If case you’re one of those people (like me) who just skip to the end of the letter, here’s the deal: I obsessed over driving online sales for pest control companies for 10 years and I took all of my hacks, secrets, and hidden formulas and compiled it into the Ultimate Pest Control Marketing Guide for you to steal and implement in your business absolutely free.

Why?

Because when I was a kid my parents abandoned me. I was raised by my aunt and uncle who were small business owners and they were only able to do so because their business was doing well. Sure, I could go work for Apple, Google, or another giant tech company but I don’t want to. I don’t want to because when I sell a pest control service through digital marketing I am helping a real person solve a real problem. And I am driving revenue to a small business that might be able to let their office assistant go home early on a Friday to make it to their son’s football game. And that is good enough for me because every time I looked into the stands under those Friday night lights, I never got to see my parents. So, if this guide doesn’t help you grow your business I will buy you a bottle of Jack Daniels as my way of apologizing for wasting your time.
